Holiday Greetings from Cypress Films

Those of you who have been following our progress on EvenHand know that we had a recent setback in the form of a misunderstanding with Mike Jones, the EvenHand screenwriter. I am pleased to report that we have reached an agreement with Mike that will allow us to proceed with our production.

I have been in contact with Fernando Cano and the San Antonio Film Commission and we are still welcome in San Antonio, so San Antonio is where we’ll be. Needless to say, our original schedule is out the window, so within the next week or so we will post a revised schedule on the CREW ACTORS AGENTS INTERNS page. The tentative schedule calls for a March shoot. The availability of Tim Orr (our director of photography) and key cast members will determine the final dates.

We look forward to making a film of which we and Mike Jones can be justly proud.
